Global digital consultancy Columbus has announced a strategic partnership with Go Autonomous aimed at bringing AI-powered automation to B2B commerce operations.

The collaboration will combine Columbus’ digital transformation expertise with Go Autonomous’ artificial intelligence platform to help businesses automate customer-facing processes, including order management, customer enquiries and support services.

A push towards autonomous commerce

The partnership centres on what Go Autonomous describes as “autonomous commerce” – an AI-driven execution layer designed to process orders, quotations and pricing requests from start to finish without human intervention.

Erling Schjetne, SVP and Global Business Line Executive for Digital Commerce at Columbus, said businesses are facing increasing pressure to manage operational complexity while improving customer experiences.

“With Go Autonomous, we’re introducing the execution fabric that helps our customers scale faster and operate more efficiently,” he said.

Meeting rising customer expectations

As demand grows for always-on, seamless customer experiences, many B2B organisations are turning to automation to improve responsiveness and reduce costs. Under the agreement, Columbus will integrate Go Autonomous’ technology into its commerce and enterprise resource planning (ERP) offerings to streamline workflows across the value chain.

Turning communications into automated transactions

Go Autonomous’ platform uses AI to interpret unstructured communications such as emails and documents, converting them into structured data that can be processed directly within business systems. The company says this allows organisations to automate complex workflows without changing how customers interact with them.

Building the future of autonomous commerce

Bjarke Ruse Sejersen, founder and chief executive of Go Autonomous, said the partnership would help companies move beyond manual processes.

“Together, we’re enabling companies to embrace autonomous commerce, where interactions are handled faster, smarter and with greater accuracy,” he said.

Founded in Copenhagen, Go Autonomous develops software that connects systems including ERP, CRM, email and e-commerce platforms, enabling commercial transactions to be executed automatically in real time.

The company primarily serves manufacturers and distributors aiming to improve efficiency, reduce costs and accelerate order-to-cash cycles.

The two companies said the partnership reflects a shared ambition to help B2B organisations modernise operations and improve customer experience through AI-driven automation.
