Produktionen af Volvo EX30 i Europa er nu i gang. Volvo Cars og produktionsanl\u00e6gget i Gent har n\u00e5et en afg\u00f8rende milep\u00e6l i dag, hvor produktionen af den fuldelektriske Volvo EX30 startes op p\u00e5 fabrikken i Belgien.<\/p>\n
EX30 har siden introduktionen i slutningen af 2023 v\u00e6ret popul\u00e6r blandt de europ\u00e6iske kunder, og nu er produktionen af modellen rykket endnu t\u00e6ttere p\u00e5. Dette g\u00f8res for at sprede det globale produktionsfodaftryk og udvide produktionskapaciteten, s\u00e5 man bedre kan im\u00f8dekomme den europ\u00e6iske eftersp\u00f8rgsel. Senere p\u00e5 \u00e5ret vil den nye Cross Country-variant af EX30 ogs\u00e5 st\u00f8de til p\u00e5 den belgiske produktionslinje.<\/p>\nFoto: Volvo \/ PR<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Volvo Cars har investeret 200 mio. euro i fabrikken<\/h3>\n
For at g\u00f8re det muligt at producere EX30 i Gent har Volvo Cars de seneste \u00e5r investeret omkring 200 mio. euro i fabrikken i Belgien. Investeringen er bl.a. g\u00e5et til en helt ny bilplatform, installationen af n\u00e6sten 600 nye eller opdaterede robotter, en udvidelse af batterihallen, en ny d\u00f8rproduktionslinje samt et nyt samleb\u00e5nd, der kan h\u00e5ndtere batteripakkerne.<\/p>\n
Den europ\u00e6iske EX30-produktion underst\u00f8tter EU’s dagsorden om b\u00e6redygtighed og \u00f8get konkurrenceevne. Samtidig repr\u00e6senterer det en investering i en fremtid, der skaber \u00f8get innovation og elektrificering samt nye arbejdspladser i Europa. Siden 1965 har fabrikken produceret Volvo personbiler<\/h3>\n
Gent er Belgiens tredjest\u00f8rste by, og fabrikken er placeret i hjertet af havneomr\u00e5det ved Nords\u00f8en. Fabrikken slog d\u00f8rene op i 1965 og er den eneste tilbagev\u00e6rende fuldt udviklede bilfabrik i Belgien.<\/p>\n
